The Ground Sound DCN23 Kit is a stereo/dual mono 3-way stand alone digital crossover. You can either built it in one box or in two separate boxes, it depends on your existing set of amplifiers or which one's you plan to buy. In general we recommend to place crossover and amplifiers as close as possible to the loudspeaker, which will reduce the length of the loudspeaker cables. The balanced line level signal is less influenced of long cables.
Notice that the new PSU DCN also accepts 115Vac mains.

The SPA300 kit is "smallest" of the Stereo Power Amplifier kits. It produces 2 x 100W at 8Ω or 2 x 160W at 4Ω. It contains a set of Ground Sound modules and enables the customer to easily build a high performance amplifier. There is a bit of wiring, but pretty easy to do and all the nessacary wires are included. The wires has to be soldered as we rely mostly on soldered joints - which will perform for a very long time. The AmpC modules makes the amplifier smooth running at power on and off. The Transformer is custom-made and has sufficient power for two PA1CC modules. The PSU4DB is the "battery" of the amplifier - it has dual bridge rectifiers to lower the noise of the power ground and giving better conditions for the transformer. The PA1CC amplifier modules has very good sonic qualities, which several of our customers has discovered. Our amplifier modules are Class AB, but the bias current is low and at normal operation level they produce comparable heat as a Class D. For this reason you don't have to build the amplifier around a huge heat sink...
