Pico Lino 2 - or CC75, a mini TML speaker as in Hobby HiFi 5/2007 and 2/2009

Technical data:
- size (HxWxD): 33.5x18.2x24 cm
- impedance: 8 Ohm
- crossover frequency: - Hz
- sensitivity: 83 dB (2.83V/1m)
- frequency range (-3dB): 90-19000Hz
- frequency range (-8dB): 50-28000Hz

A small transmission line speaker with Vifa full range driver, for those who prefer correct timing.

This project was initiated around the 9 BGS 119/8 full range driver by the Danish manufacturer Vifa; it's a unit that delivers excellent tops and even bass.

Later 9 BGS 119/8 was replaced by the unshielded 9 BG 119/8.

Excerpt of the review in Hobby HiFi 5/2007

"Using our review system in our listening room we noticed a sound that seemed to come from a full size speaker. Bass was bone dry, clearly structured and remarkably deep. In comparison with the original Pico Lino a little less caution is required at higher volumes: even though these small, handsome speakers cannot reproduce sound at the original level, they still surprise the listener with respectable dynamics in relation to their size. Vocals are absolutely realistic, and individual timbres are even better projected than with the predecessor. The tops are so clear and detailed that we believe the Mark II beats the Mark I hands down. Although some people might have preferred an additional super tweeter, this is certainly not necessary anymore. The higher resolution of the tops also results in a considerably wider and deeper sound stage. While the Mark I was rather reserved but still precise in this regard, the successor excels in presenting a generous sound stage, instruments within reach, precisely placed vocals and clearly structured three dimensionality. There is no intermingling of vocals and instruments, no wandering in dependence on frequency: the three dimensional sound stage is absolutely stable. This is certainly thanks to the full range driver displaying a perfect spatial illusion due to the superior timing, something that's difficult to achieve with multiple driver configuration."
